Away They Went

I haven't been writing for God knows how long. I have come to a dead end on this writing thing, because I really have run out of ideas on what to write. Seriously, and even if I have anything to write, it would be of something that is so short, and mushy. He3 something that you would wanna find in a Tumblr blog.

But today I found out that Toh Puan Norashikin Mohd Seth, widow of the late Tun Dr Ismail, died of old age, a day after the passing of Tun Omar Ong Yoke Lin. I realised that recently, many iconic figure had passed away. I do admit that many of them are way passed their time, but still, it's like when you let a few drops of water through a crack, it would turn into a stream.

Therefore, I would like to offer my condolence to those who recently lost their loved ones. Especially to Mr Izuan. May God bless their soul.

Random Entry On My Life

Hello. It seems that I have lost my mojo to express my feelings, what more to write here in this God forsaken blog. But when I have one, I believe it's best to just use it and say out whatever I feel, be it good or not. Okay, once in while, aku nak jugak meluahkan perasaan dalam bahasa ibunda. Ataupun bahasa bonda? Bahasa emak boleh kah? Ibu punya bahasa pun jadi kan? Ape2 je lah. Korang faham, aku pun gembira..

Semenjak dua ni, macam2 dah jadi. Maksud aku, assignment tiba2 menimbun dan menggunung, test pulak berderet, appointment (ececeh perjumpaan sudeh..) bersama groupmate untuk siapkan group work pun asik terbatal dek sebab yang sorang accident, yang sorang lagi macam biskut meri, yang sorang (well this one I have no problem with) mahukan setiap particular details diperincikan, dan sorang lagi (teka siapa okay) berlagak macam ketua projek tapi sebenarnya evaluate dan approve je benda2 yang lagi satu tu propose. Hm, bukan tu mmg kerja ketua ke?

Oh yeah, not to mention yang aku jealous tengok ramai giler senior pergi PD lah, JB la, MBB (Melaka Bandaraya Bersejarah) la, Shah Alam la, just sebab buat trip yang aku tak rasa benefit gained from the trip pun except for having fun dan berseronok basking in the sun. Apa pasal kitorang part 4 macam bosan takde trip ke bandar besar sebegitu? Aku takde lah mintak mahu ke Paris ke, Ulaan Batar ke tapi Shah Alam dah okay kan.. Takpe2 pegi sendiri je nanti..

Not to mention the fact that aku mempunyai beberapa kawan yang aku tak berapa berkenan. I mean, nak menganjing tu, tak perlu lah bertubi2 yeah. Kita baru kenal. And for God sake aku lebih tua dari kau. The hell you should know yang aku sebenarnya memang tengah menjauhkan sikit diri dari anda. And to someone else if you know who you are, tak perlu desperate untuk cari kawan okay? Kalau muka je jambu tapi perangai tak semenggah, aku yang kesian pun jadi menyampah. Korang berdua ni, nak tackle kawan baik aku pun, kena la pandai susun langkah. Gelojoh dan boastful bukan sahaja uncool, malah childish okay?

Mintak maaf kalau ape yang aku tulis ni menyinggung perasaan sape2. Tapi kalau kat blog pun nak kena jaga hati orang, aku tak tau lah nak cakap macam mane. Nak confront kate kurang ajar and tidak melayu pulak kan (walaupun aku jawa) so aku letak kat blog je la.

Oh ya, aku happy ouh. Thanks ya awak. Awak memang tak pernah abis buat saya senyum lah. He3 sayang awak! Dah2, aku tak pedulik korang kate gedik ke hape.

Believing Is Seeing

Good day. I rarely update my blog is because seriously, I have nothing to say. To me, to write and to have people reading requires me to have knowledge, or maybe even just a pinch of knowledge on how to attract people with my writing, which skill I have not mastered yet. Just like the Khutbah Jumaat or the Sunday Mass or the whatever parade you have that has a speech in preaching in it, the preacher must not be stupid, nor ignorant.

I do believe that if you want to write something, you must believe in something. I don't believe in anything currently. I can't even trust myself, as what I say might be hypocrisy. But why am I writing now? Do I believe in something now? I don't think I do. But what I really know is that life has got a little okay right now, as I can grasp the very complicated meaning of it. Or do I?

Okay2, that's my craziness speaking just now. I had to say, recently I found out that the very basis of life is faith. What your life turn out to be is a reflection on what you believe. Are you really in this world doing good? Is there any significance of you in life, in the grand scheme of things? When we look at us, individually, we don't matter actually. Just like a tiny ant trying to bring back a piece of cake for the colony. Get me?

But when we believe that we are actually a part of a huge community, a larger society, we become unstoppable. We tried to do more, as we thought that if we don't start it, no one will. Suddenly we are the hero, or so we believe. Being oneself is one thing, but believing that we are one, is another. Just like Adrian Monk yesterday, he is being timid for the rest of the series. But in one episode, he believes that he is Frankie DePalma and he act as if he is. He believe he is Frankie, so he is.

What I'm saying is that, we may not have it. We might not be tall, we might not be handsome and we might not be thin. But when we believe that we are, even the mirrors can't help us. We choose what we want to see. Trust me, I am self obsessed that every time I see a mirror I would stop to see what's wrong with my image. Being me, I always see that I'm not even close to the guys in The O.C or 90210 or Gossip Girls. But then when I believe that I am, even Brad Pitt don't look as good as me.

Like I said, the very basis of life is faith. What brought the world in it's track today is the cause of a few people, having faith in something, believing that they might change the world, restructure the inevitable future. However you say it, tomorrow will come. So have faith, we're going to make it.

Pemimpin Pembela Nasib Rakyat

Al-Marhum Sultan Iskandar Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Ismail
1932 - 2010

Dark clouds are rising above the land of Johor as it's ruler, Sultan Iskandar Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Ismail passed away around 7.08pm today. How sad it is, a man who is so dedicated to his people and kingdom had to go in time where his people is so much in need of a great ruler. His passing will surely be felt not only by his friends and families, but the whole nation itself. My prayers for him. May God bless His Royal Highness' soul. Al-Fatihah.

My Time There

The Quiet Scares Me Coz It Screams The Truth

Greetings and Happy New Year. The year of 2009 has been a rocky one for me. Many had happened that changed my perspective towards life. What resulted in todays phenomena actually is not an easy process, but rather a complicated one. How is it that you reverse years of work within months? I can say that loads of efforts are needed. Even if you're the President of United States.

The worst of economic recession since the Great Depression which dragged from the year before shook the world in terror as people are losing money like flowing water. As if it is not bad enough, a new pandemic has emerged, given the name Swine Flu and later H1N1 killing approximately 12,000 people took the world by surprise.

Adding to the death toll, this year has seen I think many death, even at the end of the year. Michael Jackson's, the famous of them all, almost took the internet with him when servers crashed as millions went online to read about it. In Malaysia, Yasmin Ahmad and Ustaz Asri went away, leaving the entertainment industry mourning. Around the world, Roy E Disney, Samak Sundaravej, Bea Arthur, Abdurrahman Wahid, and Brittany Murphy closed their chapter.

The appointment of new leaders however brought new hope to the world that they would give us a better place to live in. Barrack Husssein Obama sworn in as the US President this year, promising new beginning for Uncle Sam amidst the global financial problem and mess involving the Iraq War. Back home, Najib Razak became the fifth Prime Minister of Malaysia, together with him a responsibility of bringing back the trust of Malaysians towards the ruling coalition, Barisan Nasional.

However 2009 had serve us, I hope that 2010 is better. But that is all there is. Hope. My wish to all, have a happy new year, and my prayers that this year brings together good news. Have a good life.
