The Quiet Scares Me Coz It Screams The Truth

Greetings and Happy New Year. The year of 2009 has been a rocky one for me. Many had happened that changed my perspective towards life. What resulted in todays phenomena actually is not an easy process, but rather a complicated one. How is it that you reverse years of work within months? I can say that loads of efforts are needed. Even if you're the President of United States.

The worst of economic recession since the Great Depression which dragged from the year before shook the world in terror as people are losing money like flowing water. As if it is not bad enough, a new pandemic has emerged, given the name Swine Flu and later H1N1 killing approximately 12,000 people took the world by surprise.

Adding to the death toll, this year has seen I think many death, even at the end of the year. Michael Jackson's, the famous of them all, almost took the internet with him when servers crashed as millions went online to read about it. In Malaysia, Yasmin Ahmad and Ustaz Asri went away, leaving the entertainment industry mourning. Around the world, Roy E Disney, Samak Sundaravej, Bea Arthur, Abdurrahman Wahid, and Brittany Murphy closed their chapter.

The appointment of new leaders however brought new hope to the world that they would give us a better place to live in. Barrack Husssein Obama sworn in as the US President this year, promising new beginning for Uncle Sam amidst the global financial problem and mess involving the Iraq War. Back home, Najib Razak became the fifth Prime Minister of Malaysia, together with him a responsibility of bringing back the trust of Malaysians towards the ruling coalition, Barisan Nasional.

However 2009 had serve us, I hope that 2010 is better. But that is all there is. Hope. My wish to all, have a happy new year, and my prayers that this year brings together good news. Have a good life.
